At 3:15am on October 23, 2006, Leo's pain, misery, and suffering finally ended. He was surrounded by his Parents, Grandparents Shura, Bella, Leonid, and Michael, Uncle Boris, Aunt Lana, Cousin Shana, Cousin Irene, and Gala.

Got this from Alex. Very sorry for what happened to your son. I think it is very indicative of what modern medicine is these days--a plethora of marginally useful procedures. Next time anyone you know, or god forbid you, come down with inoperable cancer, request a morphine drip and a comfy pillow. Sounds like the butchers fucked up the last few months of your sons life.
I have read many a story on the internet about DIPG and have come across your records of Leo's Battle. My own daughter of 6.5 years currently fights her own, loosing battle. She, too, will soon pass and I am devastated. But reading the posting of other people whose lovely children were snatched from them by this beast called DIPG, gives me some more strength to continue my unquestioning care and love for my little princess.
