Leo's Fund Approved by the IRS
Our application for Leo's Fund to be granted 501(c)(3) status as a charitable organization has been approved by the IRS. This means that all contributions to The Fund can be deducted from federal taxes. A copy of the approval letter, along with the Federal Tax ID, etc., can be found here. Answers to questions around what to do with the funds (see below) are still pending...

I am friends with Megan & Ed McNamara, whose daughter, Maria, was diagnosed with a DIPG last year. They established the Prayers from Maria/Children's Glioma Cancer Foundation at the beginning of this year. I am involved with the PFM/CGCF and have been assisting them with a new section designed to help families. Before the launch of this new site, Megan would like to send out letters to the families. Hi my name is Rachel, i have a youtube account with tributes to kids at their request (http://youtube.com/lilliesha) which you can see if you want to. I am interested in making a video for kids who have battled DIPG to show what it can do, and how it is a devastating illness. I am asking if i could use your child in this video, i will need to know DOB, DOD along with 3 pictures - 1 before diagnosis, 1 during treatment and 1 of something in memorial of them like a gravestone or plaque. I just want to show people the devastating difference, so if you could send one that shows some of the true tortures that they went through with DIPG so that people can really see the effect of it. I know that not many people know of DIPG but hopefully this may get some awareness as quite a lot of people view my videos.
If your child is not an angel then just 2 pictures are fine - 1 before and 1 during.

I had my TL a little more than a year ago when my third child was born via c-section. I was not told ANYTHING about the possible side effects of having this procedure. Since then I have experienced heavy bleeding lasting sometimes 3 weeks out of the month, weight gain, severe mood swings. Severe cramping, changes to my libido, severe depression accompanied by suicidal thoughts, headaches, migraines, many new symptoms & older issues are now exacerbated.
